Before, I used to struggle with social anxiety. I was afraid of talking to and approaching strangers, and I convinced myself that networking wasn’t necessary. In reality, I was using that belief as an excuse to stay in my comfort zone. However, after receiving mentorship in business, I began observing how my mentors communicate with others. I admired how they continuously improved their communication and interpersonal skills by actively engaging with people. When I experienced their conversations and gained value from their insights, my fear gradually started to decrease. I want to share with every individual about how I changed myself to become a better version. Just a flashback: back then I had low self-image and was a short-tempered person. I’ve never done anything with patience—always having the microwave mentality and lack of communication. I had no goals, no dreams in my life. As a result, my life was not meaningful from my perspective. But not until when I met my coach in the business. His name is Felix. To be honest, I don’t have any kind of words to show my gratefulness and my appreciation to him. I come from a background in mechanical engineering, and my husband Anh has a background in IT. When we first started our business, we had little to no experience and skills in business, communication, or leadership. We were both shy introverts and didn’t know how to effectively connect with others. From countless miles traveled, late-night Zoom calls, and one-on-one coaching, they invested so much time and energy into helping us and our business grow, not just in business but also in life. I joined the mentorship system since I was in my teenage years, new to the country, and had no idea where to go in life. At first, I was very closed and not letting anyone know my inner self, but ever since I met Wesley and Leah, they opened up a new version of me. I came to the US as a student at the end of August 2025. When coming to the US, I was vague about my future; I just thought that I would try to have a high GPA, get a high degree to be able to find a well-paid job in the future.
